Chinese Consul General in Gothenburg Yang Peidong Attends 14th World Choir Games Awards Ceremony

On August 16, 2026, the Awards Ceremony of the 14th World Choir Games was held in Helsingborg, Sweden. Chinese Consul General in Gothenburg Yang Peidong attended the event upon invitation and served as an award presenter for the Champions Competition. Later that evening, Vice Consul General Li Xiaoquan attended the Closing Ceremony.

Spanning 11 days, the 14th World Choir Games attracted approximately 8,500 participants in more than 160 choirs from over 40 countries and regions. Chinese choirs won 8 World Champion titles and 6 Open Competition top spots. Additionally, they secured 44 gold and silver medals, topping the event's official medal table.
