Korean Kitchenware Brand Rangemate Launches Signature Microwave Grill Pan on Amazon U.S.

Following sales of 110,000 units in a single day on QVC U.S. and more than $138,000 raised on Kickstarter, RANGEMATE expands its presence in the U.S. market.

Designed for busy households and small kitchens, the product helps consumers prepare grilled-style meals in a microwave with less time and cleanup.

The brand has already demonstrated strong consumer demand in the United States. During a previous QVC U.S. sales event, 110,000 units were sold in a single day. The idea for RANGEMATE Signature began when food engineer JONG HYUN KIM, CEO of Pellytech Co., Ltd., heard soldiers say that microwave-heated food often became dry and lacked flavor. After approximately five years of research, he developed a patented heating structure that converts microwave energy into high-temperature heat. Unlike conventional microwave containers, the technology helps brown food surfaces and create visible grill marks.

With its ridged cooking surface, RANGEMATE Signature can be used for chicken, steak, fish, vegetables, eggs, bacon and frozen foods. A covered design helps contain splatter, while the compact form makes the product suitable for apartments, studios and one- or two-person households.
