Đurić Confers with New Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić received today the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Jeong Hong-geun, with whom he discussed the further advancement of bilateral relations and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

Welcoming Ambassador Jeong and wishing him every success during his tenure in Serbia, Đurić emphasised Serbia’s commitment to further strengthening its overall relations with the Republic of Korea, including political dialogue and contacts at all levels, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation.

The Serbian Foreign Minister noted the growing momentum in bilateral economic cooperation, conveying Serbia’s interest in attracting new Korean investment and underscoring its readiness to provide Korean investors with the most favourable conditions for doing business and investing in Serbia.

Đurić also noted that the Specialised Expo 2027 would contribute to bringing the two countries even closer together, with the Republic of Korea set to participate and showcase its potential to participants from across the globe.
