Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus Yang Yundong Meets with Heads of the Cyprus News Agency
On September 15, 2026, Ambassador of China to Cyprus Yang Yundong met with the Board Chairman of the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) Andreas Frangos, and Director of CNA Dinos Phinicarides.
Ambassador Yang noted that China and Cyprus enjoy solid political mutual trust and a sound foundation for media exchanges. He expressed the hope that media organizations of the two countries would leverage their respective strengths, contribute positively to China-Cyprus friendship, and enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples through objective and truthful reporting.
