Chinese Embassy in Slovenia Holds Reception to Celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On September 24, the Chinese Embassy in Slovenia held a reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. About 300 guests were present, including advisors of President’s Office, State Secretaries of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Defense, as well as former politicians, foreign diplomatic envoys, representatives from Chinese enterprises, overseas Chinese students and Chinese community. 

In her remarks, Ambassador Kang Yan stated that over the past 77 years, the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people in creating the two miracles of rapid economic growth and long-term social stability. Faced with changes unseen in a century, China has continued to share its development dividends with countries worldwide and provided positive energy with the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind and the four global initiatives. China stands ready to work with Slovenia to continuously consolidate political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

The guests spoke highly of China’s great development achievements and expected more fruitful results from China-Slovenia cooperation in various fields.
